Being coached by Michellie was instrumental in having my best race season ever! The layout and progression of workouts she created, gave me a level of fitness I could never reach on my own. And even beyond the training program, her complete knowledge and experience in triathlon helped me overcome any obstacle that arose along the way. The three Ironman distance races in which I have competed were under Michellie’s guidance. My first two Ironman races were Kona World Championships. I can honestly say that with each Ironman or sprint race, I’ve grown to understand that each strong effort accumulates skill and experience to help with the next race. Every time I toe the line for a race, she reminds me to have fun and learn from the race. This holistic approach has really formed me as an athlete, and that is just what one would want from an effective coach.
